We have a vintage 1940's hand blown glass carafe with a striking platinum neck as well as decorative ring. This is marked 'INLAND X X X, PAT. PENDING HAND BLOWN' The carafe has a very Deco looking black bakelite handle with a wood and cork top stopper. The carafe looks like it was not used often as there is no wear to the platinum what so ever. The black finish on the wood top does show it's age with some chipped paint. The carafe measures 12 1/2" tall and 6 1/2" wide. There are no chips or cracks. Very nice piece!
